Food for thought!

Sunday, January 08, 2006

The economist in me says
“Anything that comes free is not worth it!!”

But today I saw a comment on someone’s blog which says
“The best things in life are free”

Different perspectives… and food for thought!

I guess its just a matter of profession. The first one is an economist's perspective, and the latter .. a marketer's !
    ;-)

    Nice blog!

wow..thats an interesting statement...hmm i dont know if its fair to say that "anything that comes free is not worth it"...its contextual and economics does not state that "there are no free lunches"...simple example..think about an increase in efficiency of production...that leads to free lunches..

plus...think harder about marketing..what exactly is marketing...if you are studying consumer behavior, well its a subset of economics..ur still worried about preferences and choices blah blah... therefore a marketing person is just an applied economist..its all in the semantics

    hehe..nice blog..
