The queen of desserts

Monday, March 06, 2006

My quadie’s culinary skills are back in action – She used to make breakfast for me in those days when we used to wake up for 8.30 am class and be awake in class!! Now after a long hiatus, she is excelling at dessert making skills… just for a sample… ‘red sweet strawberries dipped in melted brown chocolat’… looked awesome and tasted even more awesome…

For all those who get bored after dinner, you know where to head for the additional dish… :-)

    Hi Raghini
Congrats on your job. I have been following your blog quite for some time now. i have a few queries it would be really helpful for me if you take a few minutes of yours to answer them to me.
    1) How good is an One Year MBA if you are looking for an Stream change.I mean i feel that the general courses will be too Hurried off to even give some space for one to think about what he want to do like Marketing,finance...
    2) Are you a one off case who successfully made an brilliant career shift? The mood of your blog at the final legs of placement reflected that you are all set to re-join infy before the lady luck smiled and whisked u in to ICICI. What could be the mood if you needed to re-join Infy. Keeping aside the wonderful Knowledge you have gathered. could you have still felt an MBA added tons to you if you had rejoined infy.

    Hi Pavan,

I had decided I wanted to do Finance before joining b-school. I don't know if you can make a stream change if you have no idea of what you want to do.

I am not a one off case who made a career shift... the other person who has been offered I-Sec is a civil engineer.

I don't know where I said I am all set to rejoin Infy.
I have been working towards a career shift, but I was always prepared for the case where I wouldn't succeed and I have to go back to Infy. And I wouldn't have been gloomy by that option... I had at least an idea on what I would do if thats the case.

If the best works out while being prepared for all possibilities is called 'lady luck', so be the case.

I have learnt a lot in this one year and I wouldn't have decided on the value of that just by where I get placed right now.

If you have any more queries, please leave your email id and I would get back to you there.

    Hi Raghini
That was really helpful. I have a couple of more questions as we share a hell of a similarities... i am in a major dilemma whether i should give CAT and go for an two year MBA or concentrate on my work for another year and go for ISB.
Can you please drop me your mail id at Pavan_Yelugula@infosys.com?

don't disturb PT too much... With all the SAFTA treaties being signed... She spends a lot of time utilizing telecom fibre capacity with our SAFTA neighbors... now we don't want a case of viewing issues as 'distributive' alone... when some are screaming out loud as 'MUTUAL'... ahem...ahem... A True Well Wisher/Soothsayer
I am sure you would agree Nirja of Irevna....
