Rohm and Haas

Tuesday, May 24, 2005

The title refers to a leading company in chemical technology and the context here is that we are working on a marketing case study for one of its Metalworking fluid biocide! No, I am not going to write about the details of the case... so breathe free :)

On the first day of the term, we had to be prepared with a Kodak Funtime case study for the marketing course... and I remember having hazy ideas of what to do with a case study before the first lecture of the course! In one week, we had an evaluated assignment on the Gillette Indonesia case and the whole campus worked hard to deliver their best. I, with a lot of others, was amazed by what we had learnt in one week (2 lectures of the course).

Now as we work on the Rohm and Hass case, I can see that the learning has only increased and we are able to work faster and better as a group. The strategies are formulated quicker and the number crunchers are at their best! Hope the exponential learning curve continues...
