Gods, Dreams and myself... just Life in general!

Tuesday, April 25, 2006

Gods… One celebrated his 33rd birthday… One celebrated his comeback victory… Me, the eternal optimist always awaits the best that is yet to come!

Holidays… The 6.30 a.m. alarm ritual has become the laughing news at home, as I stay glued to my bed at least till 10 am!! Have become lazy, have put on weight, have lost determination… was I a b-school student?

Books… Currently consuming the Freakonomics… Liar’s Poker was great… shall read it at least once more and recommend it many more times! I have this irresistible habit of buying books and sometimes reading it even after a year… and hence usually the re-readings are put off for post-retirement! But then, exceptions are always made.

Relationships… continue as they are… a few questions answered… a few unanswered questions… a few unquestioned answers!

Dreams… always colorful! What else for the eternal optimist, as the H-queen would say ;-)

Traveling… Hot weather and busy friends are better excuses than my poor convincing skills! A drive to the Pulicat Lake and a weekend in Bangalore are the only ones still in line before I hop to Mumbai.

The lazy month would hopefully revive the energy needed in the new place, new work and the new life.
